This historic replica flintlock pistol is a great conversation piece or decorator item. Also good for reenactors or gun collections. Scottish flintlock pistol, by Murdoch, 18th Century, 12" long. This beautiful all metal flintlock is heavily engraved and embossed. It has a belt hook for securing to waistband. It is believed to be the pistol that "Fired the Shot Heard 'Round the World" at Lexington, MA starting the American Revolution. Has a working mechanism but can not be made to fire.
