Blank-Firing Pistols and Stage Prop Pistols have
been specifically designed to fire one of the following: Brass .22 Short, 8mm,
or .380 short/9mm blanks. The correct type is stamped on the pistol. USE
THAT TYPE AND THAT TYPE ONLY!.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES attempt to use this
blank-firing stage prop with a real cartridge or with any blank cartridge other
than the one for which it is specifically designed. The
pistol is constructed of an alloy totally that is not strong enough for a real
firearm, and such misuse may cause the pistol to explode, with resulting injury
to the user or bystanders. Such misuse, or alteration for such purpose, may also
subject the user to criminal prosecution. Also, any modification of this
pistol, or disassembly by unqualified persons may render it unsafe for its
proper use.
When blank-firing stage prop pistols are
fired, gunpowder gas is vented forward and sideways through the front of the
cylinder, NOT from the muzzle. This gas is hot, and may contain small
particles of powder debris. At arm's length it dissipates harmlessly into
the air, but if your hands, face or other parts of your body are in close
proximity to the vent hole it can cause burns, cuts or abrasions.
TO AVOID RISK OF INJURY always fire this
pistol with your arm fully extended and at a safe distance from any other person.
Keep your face and hands well away from the vent hole in the top of the barrel
when loading, handling or firing this pistol. Always wear glasses to
protect your eyes AND hearing protection!
Except in theatrical, training or other carefully
controlled environments, NEVER point any blank-firing stage prop pistol at
any person, even as a joke. The carrying, handling or brandishing
in public of any object that resembles a real weapon may be in violation of the
law, and can cause alarm or be seen as a threat to law enforcement officers
or others - with serious or even deadly consequences for you.
Blank-firing stage prop pistols are NOT toys. Its
use should ALWAYS be under the supervision of a responsible adult. It
should NEVER be carried on the street, hidden on your person, or left carelessly
in your car. Do not leave it where it is accessible to unsupervised
children or irresponsible adults.

It is recommended that ear protection is used when firing this
pistol for your protection and for those around you.
When using a blank-firing, stage prop pistol, always fire them with arm fully
extended and at a safe distance from any other person. Always keep the muzzle
pointed in a safe direction. NEVER point any blank-firing or stage prop pistol
at any person.
